A scrap metal yard. I liked the monotone color in the bright light, which I felt a bit unsettling. Clearly the metals passing through here color the place the same awful yellow. This and other metals recycling companies in Minneapolis (and probably elsewhere) are situated within a block or two of the Mississippi River.

I liked the geometry of this. The little red building is for weighing outgoing trucks that pick up stuff here. The port exists for Mississippi River trade. The plumbing isn’t used anymore.
