Ordinary Pictures

This particular fence at a scrap metal yard in north Minneapolis has been a recurring subject (see here). It’s the little token evergreens–they seem wildly out of place in this setting–and the fire hydrant along with whatever shows itself over the wall. I thought this one has an interesting balance of elements, including the zig-zag fence pattern and it’s reflection in the yellow arm of the shovel.
